The functions of Peeled walnuts are as follows

Antioxidant effects

Preventing cell damage
Walnuts contain a large number of antioxidants, such as polyphenols, vitamin E and so on. Polyphenols include catechins, epicatechins, etc., which can scavenge free radicals in the body. Free radicals are unstable molecules that will attack human cells, leading to cell damage and aging. Vitamin E can interrupt the chain reaction of free radicals and protect the lipid membranes and other structures of cells from being damaged.

Delaying aging
Due to its antioxidant effect, walnuts can delay the aging process of the human body to some extent. In terms of skin, it helps reduce the generation of wrinkles and maintain the elasticity and luster of the skin. Because free radicals will damage collagen and elastic fibers in the skin, and the antioxidant components in walnuts can inhibit this kind of damage.

Help for bone health

Providing nutritional support
Walnuts contain minerals such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, which are all essential nutrients for maintaining bone health. Calcium is the main component of bones, while magnesium and phosphorus play important roles in bone formation and maintaining the integrity of bone structure. For example, an appropriate intake of walnuts can supplement a certain amount of calcium for the human body, which is helpful for preventing osteoporosis.

Improving bone metabolism
Some nutrients in walnuts, such as proteins and healthy fats, can also regulate the levels of hormones related to bone metabolism. For example, they may affect the secretion of parathyroid hormone, thus promoting the absorption and utilization of calcium and being beneficial to the healthy growth and repair of bones.

Other functions

Improving sleep
Walnuts contain melatonin, which is an amine hormone secreted by the pineal gland in the human brain and can regulate the body's biological clock and sleep cycle. Eating walnuts can supplement melatonin to some extent, which is helpful for improving sleep quality, especially for people with sleep disorders.

Improving intestinal health
The dietary fiber in walnuts can promote intestinal peristalsis, increase fecal volume and prevent constipation. Meanwhile, it can also provide nutrients for beneficial bacteria in the intestines, regulate the balance of intestinal flora and enhance the immune function of the intestines.
