The following items are required for the preparation of the recipe: 150g of low gluten flour, 30g of cocoa powder, 4 eggs, 120g of granulated sugar, 50ml of corn oil, 80ml of milk, walnuts, chocolate (dark or milk, according to preference).
Firstly, please separate the egg whites from the egg yolks. Next, add the corn oil and milk to the egg yolks, mix well, then sift in the low gluten flour and cocoa powder and gently mix to form a fine batter.
Next, add granulated sugar to the egg whites in three batches and beat with an electric whisk until wet peaks form, i.e. there are small curved hooks when you lift the whisk. Then, add one-third of the egg whites into the egg yolk batter and mix well with a spatula, before pouring back into the remaining egg whites and continuing to mix until the mixture is fully blended.

Following this step, the chopped walnuts should be added to the mixture and stirred in several times. The mixture should then be poured into the moulds, and the moulds should be gently shaken to remove any air bubbles.
Finally, bake in the preheated oven at 170°C for 40 - 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Finally, drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the cake and allow the chocolate to set before the delicious chocolate walnut cake is ready.
